Archipel

Residential facility 'Nazareth'

Care group Archipel's residential facility 'Nazareth' in Best offers nursing home care to clients with dementia and/or physical (somatic) problems. Interior designer Gerben van der Molen (Stars Design) and interior designer Wieke Krielaart (Archipel) engaged Lensen to supply care furniture in the new building. The entrance was given a hotel look with a cosy, spacious meeting area and restaurant ‘Gasterij’. Here there are 80 seats, a lounge with a fireplace and a billiard room. Every client can enjoy a drink, snack or meal here with their family/neighbours. Local residents and other guests are also welcome. The clients with dementia live in residential groups of ten people each. Each communal living room has its own atmosphere and theme: Best, Eindhoven, Den Bosch, Paris and London. Lensen fitted these living rooms with tables and seating in a homely atmosphere and in keeping with the style of each theme. Cabinets and sideboards were selected by Archipel itself via, among others, Marktplaats.
